Partnering With Parents to Build a Love of Learning

The Dawson Family has been chosen as our Family of the Month for December. Ty and Priscilla are the proud parents of Tyson, a former Primrose student, Payden, in Private Kindergarten, and Titan, in the Preschool 1 classroom.

The Dawsons enjoy several wonderful vacations. They have been to Disney World Several times as a family. They have also traveled throughout the U.S. supporting Tyson and Ty’s teams in basketball and baseball. In addition, they have won several championships in both sports. They have enjoyed many collegiate and pro sporting events, including one NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship.

The Dawson family also enjoys visiting many places while on vacation like amusement parks, water parks, museums, aquariums, and zoos. They are also big sports enthusiasts and love attending basketball, baseball, and football games. Spending quality time together is the most important and they like to play board games and enjoy the outdoors together.

They are all artists in some way. Tyson plays piano and the saxophone. Payden is a ballerina and wants to be a dentist. In addition, Titan is an aspiring drummer. Ty draws. They are all extremely competitive, which makes game time fun. Most of the Dawsons are great dancers. Priscilla has her own jewelry business and Ty coaches both basketball and baseball.

“Primrose has been committed to developing our kids as students and contributors to the community. We have had the pleasure of sending three kids to Primrose. Our oldest son, Tyson, is now 11 years old and he spent several of his early years at Primrose. He is now thriving as a sixth grader at Five Forks Middle School where he continues to be an A Student while taking Accelerated Courses. Tyson benefited from the educational foundation provided by Primrose and we thank Primrose. Since leaving Primrose he has maintained good grades and been recognized as a gifted student. He is also a well-rounded student. It was a no-brainer when deciding on the education of Payden and Titan given the success and fun learning experience Tyson enjoyed. Through the years at Primrose, we have seen Payden grow into a more confident reader and overall student. Based on the things she has learned at Primrose, we are extremely confident that she will be ready for first grade. Titan is also developing into a great student and enthusiastic learner because of his time at Primrose. Titan’s vocabulary has expanded a great deal since entering Preschool 1. In addition to getting a great education, Payden and Titan are enjoying their time at Primrose.”
