Partnering With Parents to Build a Love of Learning

It's a joy to honor the Evans family…the Family of the Month

Jim and Heidi are the proud parents of twins, Jake and Ava, students in our Early Preschool 2 classroom. The Evans family joined our Primrose Family this school year. Jake and Ava bring so much joy and fun to the Early Preschool 2 classroom and they display many of the traits that Percy, our character of the month, encourages. Both have big hearts and love to share that love with their friends and teachers.

The Evans family visited Disney World this year for Jake and Ava’s 3rd Birthday and had a blast! They went on their first beach trip last summer and the twins learned how fun it is to play in the sand. The Evans family enjoys Saturdays because they can go watch our extended family’s soccer games.

Some of the Evans family’s favorite things to do together are cuddling in bed and watching cartoons on Saturday mornings, going to the park, playing on their swing set, shopping, art, reading books, and horseplay with Daddy. Mommy is a teacher, and both Jake and Ava love to play school. Jim and Heidi love listening to them say some of the same things they hear their Primrose teachers say. Jake and Ava sure know how to run their own classroom!

“We are so incredibly happy with the decision we made to enroll Jake and Ava at Primrose this year. We just wish we had done it sooner. We are amazed at how much they are learning! Every night at dinner, they tell us about their fun day and about the new things they’ve learned. We still crack up remembering bedtime after their first pep rally. They both stood up in their cribs and recited the Primrose cheer over and over and over. We couldn’t get them to stop! It was hilarious! We also experienced the same thing with the Pledge of Allegiance. We couldn’t believe they knew every word and they’d only been in school a couple of weeks. Right then and there we knew we had something special in Primrose. Their enthusiasm was and is overwhelming. Their teachers are phenomenal. I visited on “Me and My Shadow Day” and I was exhausted just watching them! We really enjoy hearing them talk about Ms. Deneisha, Ms. Meghean, and Ms. Valeria. We honestly could go on for days about these three young women. Jake and Ava love them so much! As a parent, it’s very exciting and comforting to see your children excited about going to school. I know for a fact they are getting an excellent foundation from Primrose and for that, we thank you!”

Congratulations to the Evans family!
