Reuse and Recycle: Junk King Atlanta Hosts Warehouse Junk Hunt on Earth Day
Local Entrepreneur Invites Community to Repurpose Household Items at Warehouse Open House in Lawrenceville
Junk King Atlanta, the area’s leading junk removal company, announced today that it will be hosting a Warehouse Junk Hunt on Earth Day, April 22 in efforts to eliminate landfill waste and make the world a cleaner place.
As part of the brand’s commitment to being environmentally conscious, community members are invited to visit the local Junk King warehouse (485 Buford Dr., Ste. 210 in Lawrenceville) on Earth Day for an open house. From furniture and toys to building materials, the public is welcome to search through the warehouse, and take away any gently used items for free. The event takes place 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
“We’ve always been committed to reducing the amount of waste that enters our landfills by repurposing junk from the businesses and households we serve around Atlanta,” said Harry Van Buren, President of Junk King Atlanta. “Earth Day is the perfect opportunity for us to meet with our community, give life to reusable items and to educate Atlanta on the dos and don'ts of recycling.”

And through partnerships with local nonprofits and community organizations, the remaining items are donated and repurposed to benefit residents throughout Gwinnett County.
On a national level, the company’s eco-friendly approach to junk removal is a major reason why businesses and homeowners alike choose Junk King.
