School Bus Wreck Blocks Buford Drive in Lawrenceville
There were four children on board, but no one was hurt.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — An school bus crashed with a passenger car on State Route 20 on Monday afternoon, just as rush hour was getting under way.
Gwinnett County Police were working an accident at the intersection of SR 20/Buford Road and Taylor School Drive in Lawrenceville.
The driver of the car was transported to the hospital, said Gwinnett County Police spokesman Deon Washington.

Both vehicles were disabled and were going to have to be towed from the roadway, he said.
School officials said two adults and four students were on board the bus, but no one was hurt.

Only one lane of Buford Drive, on the southbound side, remained open for traffic, Washington said.
