Student Hit By Vehicle Outside Duluth School

The crash happened shortly before 7:07 a.m., according to the Duluth Police Department.

DULUTH, GA — A Duluth High School student was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning outside the school.

Duluth Police say the crash happened shortly before 7:07 a.m. on Buford Highway, a little over a block from Duluth High School. The male student, who was born in 2000, was not in a crosswalk when he was hit by a 2008 Nissan Altima, according to police spokesman Officer Ted Sadowski.

He was bleeding from the mouth and was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, where he was listed in stable condition.
