Suspect Sought In Lawrenceville Convenience Store Armed Robbery
Police say the suspect robbed the Jimmy Carter Boulevard convenience store at gunpoint in February.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect accused in a Feb. 13 armed robbery at the Food Mart in the 4700 block of Jimmy Carter Boulevard.
Police said Monday the suspect entered the store around 2 p.m. and demanded money from a man who was on his phone near the cash register. The suspect is accused of pulling out a silver and black handgun.
After the man opens the register, police said the suspect put the gun away before proceeding to take the money out of the register. The man tried to tackle the suspect, but the suspect was able to escape from the store with the money, police said.

Officers were shown security footage of the incident. The suspect is described as wearing a black hoody, dark ski mask, blue latex gloves, blue socks and dark colored sandals.
