Taco Mac Lawrenceville Location To Open In July, Actively Hiring

The Atlanta-based restaurant chain will open its first new location since 2017 and will be hiring between 120-140 employees.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA β€”Taco Mac, the Atlanta-based chain restaurant will be hiring between 120 and 140 employees for its new location in Lawrenceville next month. Positions will include hosts, servers, cooks and dishwashers.

The chain announced last fall it would be opening the location at 835 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road as it expands its number of locations around the region. The Lawrenceville location is the first to open since 2017 and will open in the former Old Towne Tavern and Grille location.

β€œWe are very excited to bring Taco Mac’s unmatched Southern hospitality, award-winning Buffalo wings and the best craft beers on draft to the Lawrenceville community,” Taco Mac CEO Harold Martin, Jr. said in a news release announcing the new location last September. β€œWe have been looking at the Lawrenceville market for a long time and made it a priority to find the best site to offer our fans in Lawrenceville their own neighborhood restaurant with quality food, family fun, and sports viewing.”

Like other restaurants that have dealt with coronavirus-related hardships, Taco Mac has experienced dining room closures, but is starting to reopen. The restaurant has instituted reopening precautions that will also followed at the new location when it opens.
