Thief Targets Parks, Libraries, Medical Facilities: Info Sought

Gwinnett County Police Department detectives need the public's help identifying a man in a string of car break-ins and fraud cases.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County Police Department detectives need the public’s help identifying a man in a string of car break-ins and fraud cases. The man has committed several car break-ins and used the victims’ credit cards to purchase gift cards at local stores.

The Gwinnett County Police Department’s case is part of a series that has occurred all over Metro-Atlanta.

The car break-ins have occurred at a variety of locations, including parks, libraries, and medical facilities. The gift cards have all been purchased at grocery stores. A silver SUV was used in multiple cases. In the Dawson County case, a woman of interest was seen with the man. The man appears to be wearing the same clothes in most of the cases.
