Two Men Arrested For Lawrenceville Murder

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- Two men, one of them already in prison, have been charged in what police say was the gang-related murder of a 25-year-old Lawrenceville man.

Dossie Davon Mann, 19, of Norcross, and Gordon Anthony Evans, 34, an inmate at Hancock State Prison, face charges that include felony and malice murder in the November 24 death of Jeffrey Anderson.

Shortly before midnight on November 24, the Gwinnett County Police Department received a tip of a possible dead body inside a residence at 2773 River Station Court in unincorporated Lawrenceville.

Officers found Anderson dead from at least one gunshot wound.

Both suspects were being held Thursday at Gwinnett County Jail.

The charges against Mann and Evans include false imprisonment and participating in gang activity.
