Weinergate Hits Close to Home

If only he had a different name. Smith. Thompson. Barron. Anything.

But Democratic New York Representative Anthony Weiner is stuck with what has to be the most unfortunate name for a guy who mistakenly believed it was a good idea for a married man — or a single man, for that matter — to send photos—photos! — of  his private parts and to send salacious messages to women around the country.

The tentacles of Weinergate extend all the way to Athens, according to a story in today’s Athens Banner Herald, which is based in part on reporting by the Las Vegas Sun.
