LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Good Friday is not considered a federal holiday. As such, many government institutions and businesses will be open for business as usual on Friday.
But that's not always the case. Some institutions give their employees the day off on the last weekday before Easter.

- The City of Dacula offices will be closed Friday.
- The City of Grayson offices will be closed Friday.
- Post offices will be open on Friday.
- Most banks will remain open on Friday.
- Gwinnett County Public Library branches will be open Friday.
- Gwinnett County Public Schools will be in session as normal Friday.
- Most Publix, Kroger and other grocery stores will remain open Friday.
