Trevor Turner and Maury Watson were Lawrenceville's fastest  in the annual Peachtree Road Race, held Thursday, July 4, in Atlanta.

More than 55,000 runners participated in the annual 10-kilometer race down Peachtree Street.

According to results posted on the Atlanta Track Club's website, Turner, 19, ran the race in a time of 35 minutes, 11 seconds to finish 154th overall. Watson, 41, was 135th among the women in a time of 43:18
