Woman Hit In Traffic Christmas Day Identified

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — The woman hit by a vehicle in traffic near Lawrenceville on Christmas morning has been identified.

Gwinnett County Police say Taylor Hamm, 24, of Atlanta, is in stable condition at Gwinnett Medical Center.

At about 6:40 a.m. Sunday, City of Lawrenceville police responded to a suspicious person call on Lawrenceville Suwanee Road.

They discovered a woman laying on the roadway who matched the description of the suspicious person.

Gwinnett County Fire transported her to Gwinnett Medical Center, where she had been listed in critical condition.

Police say the driver of the vehicle that hit her was located and that no charges are expected.
