Woman Robs Cellphone Store With Steak Knife

Gwinnett Police detectives are seeking the public's help identifying a woman who robbed a cellphone store with a steak knife.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help identifying a woman who robbed a cellphone store with a steak knife. The woman was recorded on security video.

On March 18, at about 3:15 p.m., the woman entered the Boost Mobile store located at 6070 S. Norcross Tucker Road, unincorporated Norcross. The woman stayed in the store, acting as a customer for about 50 minutes. She asked eventually asked an employee to see an iPhone 6, then produced a steak knife and demanded the phone. The suspect fled the store on foot; no vehicle was seen.

The woman is described as having dark brown hair that is lighter toward the ends and cut short in the back, about 5’04” tall, about 135 pounds. She has a mark or tattoo on her left temple.
