Woman's Skull Found, Lawrenceville Man Arrested As Suspect
A Lawrenceville man was arrested as a suspect in connection to the discovery of a skull that was found, according to Gwinnett Police.
LAWRENCEVILLE — A Lawrenceville man was arrested Monday as a suspect connected to the investigation of a woman's skull that was discovered, according to a Gwinnett County Police news release.
South Carolina’s Greenville Police department arrested Michael Wilkerson, 42, in connection with the death of 32-year-old Brittany Davis. He was extradited to Greenville, SC. Gwinnett Police found a skull in April in Buford and turned it over to the Gwinnett Medical Examiner’s Office. Investigators assisted Greenville police in identifying the remains as Davis’ a few months later. She had been living in Greenville and was reported missing in March 2020 by her family.
The motive is still unknown and detectives are urging anyone that may have information to contact Greenville Police Department.
