• A worthy honor for Bradford: Lexington honors indispensable city clerk with proclamation on 10-year anniversary (theoglethorpeecho.com) — Lexington’s longtime city clerk Kim Bradford has been honored with a mayoral proclamation marking her 10 years of service and declaring Aug. 3–6 as Kim Bradford Appreciation Week. Bradford’s “superpowers,” as the mayor calls them, include managing the water department, keeping multiple city boards running smoothly, and serving as the friendly first face residents see at city hall. Neighbors have been showering her with cards, treats, and thanks.
