Weather:

• The weather today is predicted to be partly sunny with a high of 84. There’s a chance of isolated thunderstorms later in the day – the chance of rain is 30%. It looks like a beautiful sunrise; and now that the days are a little longer, sunset is at 8:35.

Hollywood, Holiday & Observances:

• Tonight is the series finale for “House.” Catch it on Fox at 8:00 p.m.
• May 21 starts Work-at-Home-Moms Week. Multi-tasking mothers with an entrepreneurial spirit who still mange to be a “MOM”. Our hats are off to you this week! And since it is also Strawberries & Cream Day, I’m thinking a nice shortcake with some fresh strawberries is a GREAT way to show  mom how much you appreciate her!

School Things:

• For Gwinnett County Public School students, this is the last week of the 2011-2012 school year – and a week full of final exams, graduation practices and for the younger students, lots of wiggling!
• Providence Christian begins final exams today. Boys Varsity Baseball  won last week, so today they take on Savannah Christian today with the first of 2 games at 2:00 p.m. at home. A Second game will follow at approximately 4:00 p.m.  
• Parkview's state semifinal series with Mill Creek begins at 4 p.m. today with a double-header at Parkview. The third game, if needed, will be played Tuesday. 

Lilburn Things:

• The second set of auditions for Lilburn Idol are tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium at City Hall. You must have already registered in order to audition tonight (please check out the website for information) The next audition is Thursday, May 24^th and the Lilburn Idol competition begins Friday, June 8.
• “Lilburn Vibes” at the Lilburn Café starts at 7:30 p.m.
