Lilburn Farmers Market - June 14

We had a great market last week. Clickerman, aka Dave, counted over 1100 customers at the market! We are looking forward to a sunny Friday. If the weatherman is right, the weather should be perfect!

Did you hear that Food Trucks are coming to Lilburn? Tomorrow in addition to our delicious BBQ, tamales, and empanadas - The Healthy Nut food truck will be at the market serving turkey meat loaf plates with yellow rice, baked squash and zucchini; a humus plate with pita bread, feta cheese, cucumber and purple cabbage salad; a chicken with spring mix, parmesan cheese, cucumbers, celery, cherry tomatoes, raspberry vinaigrette and banana, mango, pineapple smoothies! Lots of ready to eat goodies to choose from!

Come and meet the people who grow and make your food. These hard working folks can tell you how it is done!

Gwinnett Cooperative Extension will be our partner this week. They are sending master gardeners to answer any landscape/gardening questions you might have.
 
Chef Nancy Waldeck will be providing a chef demo. She is making a peach salad. Doesn't that sound wonderful? The demonstration will begin at 6 pm. Chef Nancy also has a wonderful cookbook that you need to check out!

Lilburn Woman's Club is hosting a children's passport game again this season. Children will fill up their passport at the market learning about the world and end up with a special treat.

Lilburn Little Lending Library will be open! Bring a book, take a book, read a book!

The Lilburn Farmers Market is open every Friday in June, July and August from 4 pm to 8 pm in the Greenway Trail parking lot across from Lilburn City Park - rain or shine!
