Local Residents Win Awards at American Cancer Society Ceremony

On February 19, 2013, Lilburn resident Pat Swan whom locals recognize from her many years of hosting Lilburn Relay for Life and her participation in the Lilburn Women's Club, received several awards from the American Cancer Society.  One of the awards is being named after Mrs. Swan from this year forward.

Pat earned Advocacy Volunteer of the year for her many advocacy projects.  She also was given the Pat Swan Hope Lodge Award and bestowed the first Pat Swan Hope Lodge Volunteer Award to Carrie Sheehan of Lawrenceville.

Another Lilburn resident and a cancer survivor Jane Pandit received the Outstanding Auxiliary Volunteer Award.
