Mill Creek Nature Center Cleanup Starts Saturday

The annual Rivers Alive event takes place Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Mill Creek Nature Center managed by the Georgia Wildlife Federation. Along with Philadelphia Winn Chapter NSDAR, volunteers will join in a general cleanup of the nature center. Pam Lyle, Philadelphia Winn Conservation Committee Chair, invites the public to come.

"Volunteers need to be there by 8:30 am," Pam says. "Mill Creek is just off Mall of Georgia Boulevard in Buford." She adds, "Nature walks and a reptile demonstration will highlight the day. Door prizes, Chick-Fil-A coupons, and a limited number of tee shirts will be given away to participants and volunteers."
