Pam Lyle Receives Recognition for Excellence in Instruction of Patriotic Ideals to American Youth

The National Society Sons of the American Revolution awarded Pam Lyle, a member of the Philadelphia Winn Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution of Lawrenceville, the runner-up certificate of the Nancy Hart Education Outreach Award. The Philadelphia Winn Chapter NSDAR recommended her for the award. The certificate notes her "excellence in the instruction of patriotic ideals to American youth." President of the Atlanta Chapter SAR and Chairman Georgia State Society SAR Education Committee Terry Manning made the presentation during Philadelphia Winn's January meeting.
Pam is an active member of Philadelphia Winn NSDAR. Among her various activities last year, the Lawrenceville resident engaged seniors at an assisted living center in celebrating a Flag Day event by lighting red, white, and blue candles, coordinated events with the Boy Scouts of America to promote the proper procedure for retiring worn American flags, and volunteered in Veterans Day festivities honoring our veterans.
The NSDAR was founded in 1890 to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support better education for our nation's children. If you would like to learn more about the Philadelphia Winn Chapter NSDAR, please email philwinndar@gmail.com.
