Philadelphia Winn Chapter NSDAR Announces February Speaker

February 12, 2013 – The Philadelphia Winn Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution of Lawrenceville is pleased to announce its speaker for the February 17 meeting at Ashton Senior Living.  Historian and Author Robert M. ("Skeet") Willingham, Jr., will speak on "The Southern Strategy in the American Revolution." He will also speak on Georgia history in commemoration of Georgia Day, celebrated on February 12.  In 1733 on that date, General James Oglethorpe led 116 people from England to a site near the present day Savannah.

Except for summer months and December, Philadelphia Winn Chapter NSDAR meets at 2:00 pm on the third Sunday of each month at Ashton Senior Living in Lawrenceville. We welcome new members! For more information about the meeting or joining our chapter, please email philwinndar@gmail.com.
