Arson Suspected in Lilburn Vacant House Fire
Investigators are withholding details about how the fire started as their investigation continues.
LILBURN, GA — Investigators are working to determine who set fire to a vacant house in Lilburn on Monday.
Firefighters responded at 1:06 p.m. to a neighbor's report of a fire in the 4100 block of Nichols Court SW in unincorporated Lilburn.
Crews arrived to find smoke and flames showing from the two-story house. The fire caused extensive damage to the inside of the home, according to Gwinnett County Fire & Emergency Services.

The house appears to be vacant and there was no one there at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
Fire officials say they are not releasing certain details about the fire because of the nature of their arson investigation.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the Gwinnett Fire Investigations Section at 678.518.4890, or the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at 1.800.282.5804. Georgia Arson Control, Inc. offers a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for arson.
