Auditions for "Shrek the Musical" (1st - 12th grade)
1st - 12th grade students can join the Forefront Arts Young Actors Ensemble's production of "Shrek the Musical".
Forefront Arts Young Actors Ensemble announces a production of “Shrek the Musical” in Lilburn/Tucker.
Seeking performers in 1st - 12th grade. (Students will be grouped by age/experience during rehearsals). Auditions and rehearsals will take place at Lilburn Alliance Church, 5915 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker GA 30084. Audition workshops start on Thursday, September 4. Rehearsals will be on Thursdays 4:15-5:45 pm throughout the schoolyear, culminating in public performances of “Shrek” in May 2015.
Every student enrolled in the production will receive a role in the show. The production fee is $55 per month, or receive a discount by paying the full production fee up-front. To enroll in the production visit www.ForefrontArts.com/Lilburn.

“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek…” And thus begins the fairy tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand...and his name is Shrek.
This musical brings a story of adventure, friendship and ogre love that’s bringing ugly back! SHREK THE MUSICAL is a treasure trove of creative opportunities including costumes, sets, puppets, not to mention a fire-breathing dragon. With its irreverent fun for the whole family, audiences will delight in seeing all of their favorite characters from the movie come to life and leave the theatre cheering for more.
