City Council Meets Monday to Approve Budget

Meeting will be last one scheduled until August.

The final public hearing on the City of Lilburn’s budget for fiscal year 2011-12 highlights the scheduled June City County meeting Monday night at the Calvin Fitchett Municipal Complex auditorium.

This is the second public hearing on the proposal: General Fund, $5.9 million; SPLOST, $1.7 million; Capital Improvement Plan, $1.7 million; and Capital Projects Fund, $40,000. The council is then expected to adopt the budget.

The 7:30 p.m. meeting will be preceded by a 6:30 p.m. work session. This is the last scheduled council meeting until August.
