County Track: Berkmar's Shackleford Wins 300 Hurdles; Parkview Teams Place Third

Parkview's 4x100 relay teams also win county titles.

Parkview’s boys and girls teams each placed third in the Gwinnett County track and field meet, which concluded Thursday at Mill Creek High School.

The boys team scored 70.5 points, well behind winner Brookwood, which had 107.5. The girls scored 96 points; Peachtree Ridge won with 120.

Berkmar was 10th in the boys standings and 11th in the girls. Providence Christian’s girls were 18th; the boys team did not score.

Lilburn’s standout performer Thursday was Berkmar hurdler Justyn Shackleford, who won the 300 hurdles in 38.9 seconds and was third in 110 hurdles with a time of 14.88.
