Dollar General Robbed at Gunpoint
Inside the Police Reports: A man robbed the store on Lawrenceville Highway last month.

A man robbed a Dollar General in Lilburn last month and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
According to the Lilburn police report, an employee was checking out customers during the incident around 8:25 p.m. on Oct. 27.
The employee, 44, noticed the suspect entering through the front entrance. Already wearing a ski mask, the man approached her and pointed a black handgun at her.

He handed her a white plastic bag and told her if she opened the cash register and filled the bag with money, no one would get hurt.
The employee complied and gave the bag back to the armed robber. Witnesses say the man then left through the front door, and no one was reported injured.

The store's surveillance tape shows the suspect left on foot going westbound toward Harmony Grove Road.
The victim and witnesses described the suspect as a white male as 5'9" to 6' tall with a medium build. He was wearing a black top with a white stripe on the sleeves and pajama-type pants.
The case is still under investigation with Lilburn police.
