Meet Jane Harmon and her dog Cole. Jane is the author of a young adult novel, "Pip". Cole was the inspiration for the main character, Pip.
"Pip" is a coming of age story of a young boy Jamie, and his dog Pip, living in Tennessee during the relocation of the Cherokees from Georgia to Oklahoma and the "Trail of Tears".
Jane has been a teacher at The Paideia School in Atlanta for 30 years. She lives with her husband, five dogs, one cat and two horses!

The book will be for sale at the shop. This paperback retails for $15.50. Funds for the book go to the author for her continuing help with rescue animals.

Shop hours are Thurs/Fri/Sat from 11am to 5 pm.
