Change is the Only Constant

Thursday, April 11 – Saturday, April 13. John S. Burd Center for the Performing Arts, Hosch Theatre.  Brenau University Department of Dance presents a concert full of variety, excitement and art. Guest choreographer Charlotte Boye-Christensen (Artistic Director of the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company) has made a new dance that tests the Brenau dancers physical endurance and power. Alumna Reyna Gaytan O'Leary's new dance explores her research with movement and autism. Visiting professor Cassandra Alvarado presents two new highly entertaining dances full of energy and fun. The Gainesville Ballet Company shows its Brenau dance affiliation with a guest appearance. Other dances by faculty and guest choreographers fill out the wonderful evening.  Tickets: adults $6; seniors, students, children $4.  Free for Brenau University students, faculty and staff.
