Performing & Fine Arts (Acting, Dancing, Music, Modeling & Creative Writing)

Find out what's happening in Lilburn-Mountain Parkfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
Children will learn about Fine and Performing Arts. They will learn the following: Dance routine; modeling techniques; acting skills and creative writing. At the end of this two week session (June 7th at 6:30pm) students will perform the following: dance/music recital, fashion show, acting skit and display / read their creative writing.
Media & Technology
Jun 10 to Jun 21
Students will learn about media and technology. They will create a summer blog site with video and photos. Additionally students will learn how to conduct internet research and create educational computer games.
International Immersion
Jun 24 to Jul 5
Students will participate in a total immersion experience with Mandarin, Spanish and French language and culture (vocabulary, conversation, food, music, history (people / places/ events), geography, etc.)
Berkmar UMC's Vacation Bible School
Jul 8 to Jul 12
Berkmar United Methodist Church invites all children to step right up at the Everywhere Fun Fair: Where God’s World Comes Together Vacation Bible School (VBS). The cost is only $15 per child (this includes the cost of a t'shirt and materials). Childcare is also available at Legacy of Purpose Preparatory Academy before and/or after VBS from 7am - 6:30pm.
VBS adventures include interactive Bible fun and great music, super science, cool crafts, hands-on mission work, global games, and more. To be a part of the excitement at Everywhere Fun Fair, please register online at 2013.cokesburyvbs.com/berkmarumc.
Science & Math Enrichment
Jul 14 to Jul 26
Students will improve their math and analytical skills through fun and exciting activities / games. Students will also participate in interesting science experiments (life science, earth/space science and chemistry).
LOPPA Summer Olympics
Jul 29 to Aug 2
Students will learn about health, diet and physical fitness. They will also participate in fun and exciting games. At the end of this final summer session, students will have the opportunity to compete for great prizes (academic and physical competitions)!
