This year's Veterans Day Celebration will be held Nov. 11 from 2-4 p.m. in Lilburn City Park. The ceremony will include an inspirational address from Major Ron Tootle, the Sr. Marine Instructor for the local Marine JROTC. The Gwinnett Community Band will provide patriotic music, and the Girl Scouts will assist in the honor guard and flag retirement ceremony. Following the ceremony, join the local VFW for a hot dog cookout provided by the Kroger at Mountain Park. The event is co-sponsored by the GFWC Lilburn Woman's Club and the City of Lilburn.
