Gwinnett Police Seeking Help Finding Armed Robber
The suspect followed his victim, a gas station employee, from Decatur to Lilburn then robbed him.

LILBURN, GA -- Gwinnett Police are seeking the public’s help to find an armed robber who followed a gas station clerk home from work and robbed him at gunpoint.
At about 10:30 p.m. on February 8, police say the victim, who works at a Texaco station in Decatur, was driving home when he realized he was being followed.
He took an alternate route and thought that the suspect had stopped following him, police say.

But when he arrived home, the suspect held him at gunpoint and demanded cash. The victim gave the suspect the store’s cash deposit, police said.
On Thursday, a Georgia Bureau of Investigation sketch artist completed a sketch of the suspect. Police are releasing it in hopes of developing new leads in the case.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male in his late teens or early 20s. He stands about 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-7, but has muscular shoulders according to the police description. He also has a short hairstyle, “very nice teeth,” and was wearing a gray jacket.
