If you have attended Lilburn’s National Night Out Against Crime more than once, you will have noticed that each year the event had grown from the previous year.

Last year attendance was estimated to be between 1,500-2,500, and we anticipate a larger turn-out this year. As such, we’ve made some changes to the layout.

Helicopters from the Georgia State Patrol and Department of Natural Resources will also be joining Lilburn’s National Night Out, flying in and landing at the eastern end of Lilburn City Park. The helicopter will stay throughout the event allow attendees a chance to see it close up and talk with the officers who fly it. The helicopter’s flyover and landing will take place at approximately 6:30.

Other static displays of police and emergency vehicles will be located at the City Hall Parking Lot, with a few along the park’s track. Presentations and announcements will be made from the band shell.
