Hillcrest Sidewalk Project Expected to Begin This Month
Lowest bid of $18,160 accepted by the City of Lilburn.
The project to construct a sidewalk along the eastern side of Hillcrest Road should begin later this month, with completion expected by mid-August, according to City Planner Alex Mitchem.
The project was awarded to Cumming-based Curb-Tech, Inc., the lowest of the 12 bidders that submitted bids to the city by the June 24 deadline.
The $18,160 bid was $1,800 lower than the next lowest bid, according to city records.
