Friday = Lilburn Farmers Market = Great times!
The market will be filled with heirloom vegetables tonight. If you have not tried an heirloom, take one home and see what everyone is talking about! Lots of fruits to choose from too - peaches, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries. Ready to eat BBQ, tamales, empanadas, falafel sandwiches and lots more to choose for dinner. Pasta, salsa, coffee, honey, meats, and baked goods round out the offerings. Carroll Farms is bringing chanterelle mushrooms. So much to choose from!
Chef Stacy Maple will be hosting a cooking demo at 6 pm. Her summer chowder was amazing last time she came to the market.
Gwinnett Cooperative Extension will have master gardeners available to answer any landscaping/planting questions you might have.
Lilburn Woman's Club's Little Free Library will be open with lots of new books to choose from for your summer reading.
Clark Brown will entertain us with his wonderful music.
The Lilburn Farmers Market is open every Friday through August 30 - rain or shine - from 4 pm to 8 pm in downtown Lilburn. It is a 'tasty way to start your weekend!'
