Lilburn Farmers Market: What's happening this Friday, July 1

Lilburn Farmers Market, a producer only market, operates every Friday in June, July and August from 4 to 8 pm at 1400 Killian Hill Road.

The Lilburn Farmers Market continues to serve the greater Lilburn community this Friday, July 1 from 4 to 8 pm at 1400 Killian Hill Road, Lilburn.

This producer only market will be filled with locally grown and produced items that will help make your July 4th celebration extra special. Tomatoes, beans, squash, cucumbers, potatoes, okra, lettuces are great additions to your cookout menu! Pick up some locally made sausages, locally raised pork or beef to toss on the grill.Peaches and berries are a great addition to any meal - or maybe an extra special dessert. Local honey, freshly roasted coffee, delicious baked goods, granola, frozen meals (salmon puff pastries, beef enchiladas, chicken pot pies), bath and body products (great hostess gifts!), and icy lemonades can be enjoyed.

Need a ready to eat dinner for Friday? Fitzgerald's Smoked Meats produces mouth watering BBQ. Bandora is a food truck that features falafel, chicken shawarma, beef/lamb pitas and yummy lemojitos. Rey's Cuban Cafe - tamales and Cuban sandwiches. Make plans to have dinner with us!

Cathy Warner of Baking Experience will talk about with Einkorn, the world’s most ancient wheat,and the only wheat that’s never been hybridized from 6 PM to 8 PM. It is a delicious, healthy alternative to modern, mass market wheat and can be an excellent solution for those with gluten sensitivity. Drop by for samples of baked goods along with some recipes for making muffins and quick breads using Einkorn. Freshly milled Einkorn flour will be available for purchase.

Staged Right Theatre Company is our 'Booth for a Cause'. This fledgling community theatre aspiring to bring theatre to the community, and to bring the community to theatre. Their purpose is to develop and nurture diverse talent in a safe environment while performing community outreach through quality theatre and service to the community.
