Lilburn Farmers Market: What's happening this Friday, June 24
Lilburn Farmers Market, a producer only market, operates every Friday in June, July and August from 4 to 8 pm at 1400 Killian Hill Road.
The Lilburn Farmers Market continues to serve the greater Lilburn community this Friday, June 24 from 4 to 8 pm at 1400 Killian Hill Road, Lilburn.
This producer only market will be filled with locally grown and produced items. As the summer progresses, so does the variety of produce available for purchase - tomatoes, beans, squash, cucumbers, potatoes, and so much more! Peaches freshly picked from farms in Middle Georgia and berries that were picked earlier that day. Just ask the vendors about their farms! Local honey, freshly roasted coffee, delicious baked goods, granola, frozen meals (salmon puff pastries, beef enchiladas, chicken pot pies), bath and body products, boiled peanuts, and icy lemonades can be enjoyed. Ready to eat options include Fitzgerald's Smoked Meats - mouth watering BBQ and Rey's Cuban Cafe - tamales and Cuban sandwiches. Make plans to have dinner with us!
Chef Lisa Lowe of Cooking for Caregivers will host a cooking demonstration running from 6 to 6:45 PM with samples to taste. Come and learn how to create Grilled Peaches purchased from the market and Peach Habanero Goat Cheese Bruschetta purchased from Blue Moon Creamery at the market!
Alec Porto, principal of St. John Neumann Regional Catholic School, will fill the market with his special music this week.
