Lilburn Farmers Market - What's happening on June 17

The Lilburn Farmers Market continues to serve the greater Lilburn community this Friday, July 17 from 4 to 8 pm. The market will be filled with locally grown and produced items. As the summer progresses, so does the variety of produce available for purchase. The peaches and berries for sale where on the trees and vines that morning! Local honey, freshly roasted coffee, delicious baked goods, granola, frozen meals, bath and body products, boiled peanuts, and icy lemonades can be enjoyed. Ready to eat options include Fitzgerald's Smoked Meats - mouth watering BBQ, Brooke Lynn's Own Sticks and Cones - an array of filled cones ranging from pizza to chicken and waffles, and Rey's Cuban Cafe - tamales and Cuban sandwiches.

Chef Lisa Lowe of Cooking for Caregivers will host a cooking demonstration running from 6 to 6:45 PM with samples to taste. Come and learn how to create the Caprese Salad blending mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and pesto.

The GFWC Lilburn Woman's Club International Program will host a tasting opportunity of items found at farmers markets around the world. The LWC Education Program continues to host the Little Free Library.

Master Gardeners from the Extension Service will be available to answer your landscape/gardening questions.

North Georgia Two Cylinder Club continues to offer free tractor rides to kids of all ages.

Crying Room Players will fill the market with their special brand of Bluegrass and more.

The Lilburn Farmers Market partners with Wholesome Wave Georgia to double eligible purchases for customers using EBT/SNAP benefits.

The Lilburn Farmers Market is a co-sponsored event of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church located at 1400 Killian Hill Road and operates every Friday from 4 to 8 PM. We strive to be a tasty way to start your weekend.
