Lilburn Farmers Market: What's happening at the market on Friday, August 12
Lilburn Farmers Market, a producer only market, will run until August 26th from 4 to 8 pm Friday at 1400 Killian Hill Road
Congratulations! You survived the first week of school. Come and celebrate at the Lilburn Farmers Market. Pick up grass fed, grain finished beef, pork and sausage to grill out. Add corn, tomatoes, veggies to grill, melons, peaches and some baked goods and you have a delicious and easy meal for the weekend.
Hungry for dinner? The Lilburn Farmers Market has you covered! Mobile Marley Food Truck returns with fish n chips, fish tacos, shrimp tacos and so much more. This truck was a BIG hit their last night at the market. In the mood for BBQ? You cannot beat Fitzgerald’s Smoked Meat – tilapia, pork, beef and chicken sold by the sandwich, platter or pound.
Does your sweet tooth need satisfying? The Cherry Scoop returns with their delicious ice cream. If you have not tried their ice cream sammies, you are missing a treat. Of course, the market is filled with pound cakes, cake slices, brownies, turnovers and cookies. So many choices – so little time!
