Lilburn Farmers Market- What's happening at the market Friday, July 29

Lilburn Farmers Market, a producer only market, will run until August from 4 to 8 pm Friday at 1400 Killian Hill Road.

Make plans to attend the market this week:

Melons are at the market! Watermelons and cantaloupes are juicy and delicious. South Georgia Peaches continue to be a crowd favorite. It's not summer without tomatoes. You can find all varieties - cherry, heirloom, Roma, orange. Try for yourself and see. Corn is plentiful -all varieties: yellow, white and bi-color.

Fresh eggs, sausages, bacon, coffee, scones - all the makings for a yummy Saturday breakfast feast can be purchased from the producers. Treat yourself this weekend.

Good Shepherd Presbyterian Preschoolers will be showing off their 'green thumbs' this week. These small gardeners have a plot in the Community Garden and have grown lots of produce. They will be giving out samples of their kale salad and pesto and bread.

Pokemon Go players - Rumor has it that there will be a Pokemon Lure Module dropped at 7 PM. Come by and catch a few Pokemons while you shop.

Meatballerz Food Truck returns with 3 varieties of meatballs that can be served in a hole (baked Italian boule), on a stick or on a bed of pasta. To round out their menu, they have Patalinas, Aglio Noodles, Frittelle di ricoota Limone and Caprese grilled cheese sandwiches.

North Georgia Two Cylinder Club continues to offer free tractor rides to kids of all ages.
