Due to COVID-19, the City of Lilburn has postponed its annual July 4th event, Sparkle in the Park. A new date has not been determined and residents are encouraged to visit the city’s website, cityoflilburn.com, for updates.

Regulations regarding fireworks were adopted in 2016, with the City of Lilburn following state law. Here is a synopsis of the changes in 2016 and the regulations the City of Lilburn follows:
• “Normal” days all fireworks are prohibited after 9:00 p.m.

• On July 3rd, July 4th and New Year’s Eve, fireworks are allowed until midnight
• Fireworks are allowed between midnight and 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day
