Lilburn National Merit Scholar Headed to Vanderbilt

Lihua Shu, a Parkview grad, will study medicine.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced the winners of Merit scholarships financed by their colleges of choice.

Each recipient will receive up to $2,000 in annual scholarships. Around 2,500 winners were named in the U.S.

One of the recipients was a Parkview High School graduate:

Lihua Shu, Lilburn

High school: Parkview High

Probable career field: Medicine

College: Vanderbilt
