Lilburn Wells Fargo Bank Robbed
The Wells Fargo Bank on Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn was robbed for a second time this year.
The Wells Fargo Bank on Lawrenceville Highway was robbed Friday, the second time this year the bank has been hit by robbers.
The suspect entered the bank at about 10:35 Friday morning and demanded money in a note to a teller. The bank handed over an undisclosed amount. The suspect drove off in a late-model grey pickup truck with an extended cab, heading in the direction of Tucker, Captain Ben Haynes said in an emailed statement.
The suspect is a black male, between 30-40 years old and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a brown leather jacket, a black long-sleeved shirt, dark pants and a black toboggan cap.

The money bag handed to the suspect had a dye pack, which exploded when the suspect left the bank. He may have red dye stains, and he may be injured from the explosion.
