Mailboxes Knocked Down, Destroyed by Firecrackers
Inside the Police Reports: Locals report damage to their mailboxes earlier this month.
Two individuals in separate Lilburn neighborhoods reported damage to their mailboxes earlier this month.
In one of the incidents, the victim, a 68-year-old female, said her brick mailbox was destroyed by an exploding firecracker. Having taken place from between 6 p.m. July 3 and 6 a.m. July 4 on Fox Hollow Drive near Killian Hill, the firecracker incident is estimated to have done $300 worth of damage.
In addition to the mailbox, the victim's white Colorado truck was egged, but that took place the evening before her mailbox exploded. She noted to police that her vehicle wasn't damaged, and she only wanted to report the vandalism to her mailbox.

His residence, located on Rivermeade Drive off Arcado Road, has been a target for mailbox violence over the past couple of years, according to the police report.
