UPDATE: Man Missing, Police Seek Public's Help

Edsel Walker, a 72-year-old who suffers from dementia, was last seen at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Norcross.

Missing person Edsel Walker has been located and is safe as of 5:10 p.m., according to Norcross Police.

Norcross Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing man in the area.

Edsel Walker, 72, was reportedly last seen at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Norcross. He left his home to take a walk near Sheffield Road and North Norcross-Tucker Road, according to a news release from Norcross Police spokesman Capt. Brian Harr.

Walker, who suffers from dementia, is described as being a white older male, 5'11" and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing light brown pants, a faded blue jacket and a gray stocking cap.
