Meet our Family of the Month; A Trusted Partnership with Parents

Khari and Celeste are the proud parents of Xolani (Xoey) and Khari (TJ), students in our Senior Explorers and Preschool 2 classes respectively.

Some of their most memorable family experiences are times when they visit with their extended family. From learning about Caribbean culture to riding trains in the North California Hills, they enjoy sharing those moments with all of their family members. They make so many memories during the Christmas and summer holidays that the children will have a lot to reflect on when they are older.

The Dickson family has many hobbies that keep them busy. Khari enjoys golfing and spends most of his time on the green. He also likes model trains and boats. Celeste is a writer (by profession), but also enjoys it for fun, too. She spends a lot of time reading, mostly non-fiction. Xoey is discovering her love for many things. Right now it is dance and rock collecting. TJ loves figuring things out. Putting puzzles together keeps him fairly busy during our downtime. Both children enjoy being outside, too, and really love their evening story times. The entire family loves playing music and singing/dancing together in the kitchen. You might catch them doing the “Cha Cha Slide” or the “Cupid Shuffle” on a day when they are feeling silly.
