Motorcycle Driver Killed in Lawrenceville Highway Crash
The motorcycle was weaving in and out of traffic and passing in the center turn lane, witnesses said.
LILBURN, GA — The driver of a motorcycle was killed Wednesday in a crash on Lawrenceville Highway.
The crash happened at about 2:23 p.m. near Inland Way in Lilburn, according to Lilburn Police.
Witnesses told police that the motorcycle driver was weaving in and out of traffic and passing cars in the center turn lane of the highway.

While doing so, the motorcycle struck a southbound Ford Escape that was attempted to turn left in the center lane near Lilburn Square shopping center.
The motorcycle driver was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:51 p.m.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. No charges will be filed in the case, according to Lilburn Police.
Authorities say the driver's identity will be released following notification of family members.
