Mountain Park Masonic Lodge holds Charity Fundraiser to Fight Childhood Cancer

Beginning on February 6th, members, friends and
family of Mountain Park Masonic Lodge No. 729 began the 37 day “Dr. Andy Grow
for the Cure” charity fund raiser to help in the fight against childhood
cancer.  Participants swore off the razor
and foregone shaving until the fundraiser’s finale to be held on Saturday March
15th at Mountain Park Masonic Lodge located at 1294 Rockbridge Road
in Stone Mountain.   A $5/plate charity breakfast
will be served at 9:00AM followed by beard judging at 10:30.  The finale should prove to be a very
emotional one given that the judging panel led by Dr. Andy Nicholson will also
include the child and family who are set to receive the proceeds of the charity
who will be joining via a Skype call.

Funds have been  raised
by supporters who pledged to donate a certain dollar amount per day of beard
growth for their favorite participant.
100% of the proceeds will go to support this single child who is
fighting childhood cancer.
