Nash to Make State of Gwinnett Speech Feb. 15

Gwinnett Board Of Commissioners Chairman Charlotte Nash will make the annual State Of The County speech on Feb. 15 as part of a Gwinnett Chamber Of Commerce program.

The event/speech will be at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Nash was elected in 2011 to fill the unexpired term of former Chairman Charles Bannister, who resigned amid a grand-jury probe into questionable land deals. Nash therefore will be up for re-election in 2012. She has said that it is "too early" to make a formal announcement about her plans.
