Gwinnett citizens-do you realize the GA Dept of Ed. is trying to take away your parent choice in educating your own children? The GA DOE has implemented a new policy to take affect in August that states that public schools will no longer accept credits from home school entities or non-traditional education centers. This is PARENT Choice and has nothing to do with monitoring, rigor, or quality of the program. Go to change.org and put in Georgia Accrediting Commission and you will see the online petition we are asking you to sign to take back Parent Choice in credit recovery and in the education of your students.
